Mechanical Engineering New Makerspace Facility

Mechanical Engineering has opened the doors to its new Makerspace facility. The Open House for the facility was held on Friday, November 3rd with logo competitions and cupcakes. The new space is equipped with 3D printers, drill presses, soldering stations and hand tools and was made possible with the generous donation of Coleen Burke-Finney ’90 ME, ’99 MBA and her husband, Michael Finney, for the purpose of giving students a space where they can take their classroom education and explore their creativity and innovation. Coleen  is a member of the ME Advisory Board and the Director of International Policy Integration at Boeing International.
