Students visit Condé Nast and Estée Lauder on NYC Trek

On Thursday, November 19, 2015, students from across the Villanova campus visited Condé Nast and Estée Lauder on a trek organized by Professor Sue Metzger, Michelle Galloway, and the ICE Institute.

Stephanie Car (VSB ’17) shared the following feedback after the Trek: “Visiting the Condé Nast and Estée Lauder offices in NYC was an incredible experience! I really enjoyed learning about the ways that technology is shaping the future of the beauty and media industries. We had the opportunity to meet with executives and Villanova alumni to learn about their current roles and career paths. Overall, it was an excellent opportunity to learn more about these world-class companies and expand our networks.”

Students met with Gina Bueti (COE ’10) – Packaging Engineer, Christopher Clark – VP of Global Supply Chain, Constance Howlett – VP of Global Packaging Operations, and Rhonda Vetere – Chief Technology Officer at Estée Lauder and Fred Santarpia (VSB ’98) – Chief Digital Officer, Arlie Sisson – VP of the Emerging Product Group, and Toni Thompson – Executive Director of Human Resources at Condé Nast.

According to Elizabeth Suizzo (VSB ’17) “this NYC Trek allowed me to meet powerful women and learn about their equally powerful roles within their respective companies. These women are the force driving the technology that enables their businesses to remain leaders in their industries.”
