Pitching Products to Parents

VSB590_20140221_0118.smallLast week I was given the opportunity to present my Villanova Student Entrepreneurship Competition (VSEC) idea in the form of a 2-minute elevator pitch in front of the Villanova Parents Committee. The practice and experience to share my product RewardMe, a virtual over the air payment app and promotion application, in front of an audience was exhilarating and was like nothing I have ever done in my career before coming to Villanova. Not only did I get to present, but I also met some other great student entrepreneurs like Romario Wallace with Cranium AMTH and Cameron Piper with Du Riz.

I enjoyed this experience that II Luscri and the ICE Center put together for us, and it would not have been as beneficial without the members of the Villanova Parents Committee traveling to Villanova and sharing their feedback and reactions with us after our presentations. I can speak on behalf of the presenters to say that we all enjoyed and appreciated the opportunity to share and involve a new audience with our ideas.

Best of luck to all teams with their entries in the VSEC 2014 this year!
