Eric Adams (LAS ’11) Joins ICE as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence


Please welcome Eric Adams as the ICE Center’s newest Entrepreneur-in-Residence. His company, plannedUp, is a Venture-backed tech start-up that is building a next generation social media tool involving calendar sharing. While the company is based in Boston, Eric will hold office hours in the ICE Center to meet with students seeking advice on startups or who have a big idea to share. In his time at Villanova, Eric will look to promote tech entrepreneurship in the VU ecosystem.

Adams is a 2011 graduate of the Villanova College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, majoring in Political Science, Theology, and Philosophy. He started his first company as a sophomore at Villanova and moved to Boston after graduating in 2011 to secure venture capital financing for his current company, plannedUp. Launching in April 2014, plannedUp is highly anticipated as being a next-generation player in the emerging social media – productivity space. Adams is an expert in early stage companies, product design, development, and positioning and is eager to work with the Villanova community to help develop big ideas.
